Project Description
Parsons has provided services to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center since 1995. We provide the Goddard Facility Management Division with onsite professionals who work hand in hand with the civil service engineering team.
NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, a 1,200-acre complex with 32 major buildings, provides space and earth science leadership and engineering capabilities. It has over 2.6 million square feet of hi-tech laboratories, computer centers, and operational and support facilities.
Parsons' onsite staff of architects, engineers, technicians, craftsmen, and support personnel modernize, rehabilitate, expand, and maintain and operate the existing buildings and infrastructure while maintaining normal operations. The design-build services are performed for two government programs: the Center Funded Work Request, which is used for projects not exceeding $500,000 in value, and Construction of Facilities, which is reserved for projects valued at greater than $500,000.
