Project Description

The Southwest 170th Avenue Improvement Project for the Washington County Department of Land Use and Transportation improved a 2.3-mile portion of 170th Avenue and a 0.5-mile section of Oak Street in Hillsboro, Oregon. The project improved the existing 2-lane facility on 170th Street to minor arterial standards. A historic stream channel adjacent to 170th Street was restored, and crossings were upgraded.

Parsons' work on the project included earthwork, storm and drainage, box culverts, retaining walls, curb and gutter, asphalt paving, sidewalk, driveways, landscaping, wetland mitigation, signals and signing, striping, illumination, waterline, and sanitary sewer work.
